Maximum Savings

Use dynamic tariffs, solar surplus, and smart balancing. Automatically lowering your monthly energy costs.

Let your home system decide when to use, store, and save energy

With dynamic tariffs and solar production working together,
your system automatically chooses the cheapest and most efficient moment to power your home.

Dynamic Energy Control

Uses live energy prices to shift charging and consumption
so you always benefit from the lowest possible tariff.

Solar-Optimized Savings

Stores your solar excess during the day and uses it later to reduce peak-time costs to almost zero.

Frequently asked questions

The master battery has a capacity of 60Ah / 2112Wh (≈2.1 kWh).

Each expansion module adds an additional 2.1 kWh, and the system can be expanded up to 10.5 kWh (1 master + 4 expansion units).

Yes. You can add, monitor, and control multiple battery stacks directly in the app.

With a dynamic energy contract, the SpeedStack can store electricity during low-price hours and deliver it back to the grid during peak hours. This classifies you as a small electricity producer, which makes you eligible to reclaim VAT on your purchase saving up to €462, depending on your setup.

Most Dutch households qualify, but we recommend completing the VAT eligibility test first.

Note: If you previously claimed VAT for solar panels, consider placing the battery and energy contract under a partner’s name.

Both. The SpeedStack plugs into a standard wall socket (1-phase), while the included P1 meter communicates with your smart meter and measures total household consumption and production — regardless of the number of phases.

Charging power is limited to 1200W, independent of 1- or 3-phase connections.

Yes. The SpeedStack must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the included P1 meter.
A printed manual is included with your unit, and a digital version is available on our website.

You will need:

  • A Wi-Fi connection
  • A smartphone/tablet (iOS or Android) with the XXODD App
  • A smart meter
  • The included XXODD P1 meter
Yes. Installation takes only a few minutes and requires no installer.
Yes. The SpeedStack is IP65-rated, suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
Maintain 20 cm of space on both sides and 30 cm above the unit. If you stack multiple units, the same 30 cm applies above the top battery.
No. We strongly advise against using power strips or extension cords, as they may overheat when supporting high continuous loads.
Yes. You can stack up to four expansion modules onto one master unit.
Yes. The SpeedStack must receive live consumption data from a smart meter via the included P1 meter.
Yes. It is compatible with all suppliers, including dynamic-tariff providers.

One master unit per stack, expandable with up to four additional modules.

Expansion increases capacity, not power output.

Charging remains at 1200W regardless of the number of modules.

If you need higher power, use two separate SpeedStacks without expansion modules.

Yes, as long as the battery remains dry and well-ventilated. Treat it as a large portable power source.

Check your insurance coverage for off-premise use and follow all safety guidelines.

No. The SpeedStack requires the included XXODD P1 meter.

However, the XXODD P1 meter includes a splitter, allowing concurrent use of your existing meter.

No. The battery functions perfectly without solar.

It charges during low-price hours and discharges during peak hours.

Savings are higher if you do have solar panels.

Yes, but note that EVs require far more energy than the SpeedStack can store. The SpeedStack can reduce household load while the EV charges, but will not fully charge your vehicle.
Yes. The battery helps cover peak demand when consumption exceeds solar production.

Yes. It automatically charges when prices are lowest and discharges when prices are high.

Yes. The SpeedStack complies with all Dutch consumer regulations and EU standards (EN/IEC 50549).

Yes. Discharging stops automatically to protect your home and comply with EN 50549-1/2.

Like all batteries, some energy is lost as heat.

Actual efficiency depends on temperature and load conditions.

The SpeedStack has been tested extensively in real-world scenarios.

Not as a smart battery.

However, you can use it as a backup power source by plugging devices into the AC output.

Yes, all models. Older models may require an additional power adapter, which is included.

Yes. However, the payback guarantee applies only with a dynamic energy contract.

Yes. In a power outage, unplug the battery from the wall socket and plug your device into the battery’s AC outlet.

Yes. However, the battery and charger do not communicate.
Your EV may draw more power than the SpeedStack can provide.

One AC output with a maximum of 1200W. Using a power strip is possible only if the total load remains under 1200W.

No, direct PV input is not supported.

No. The SpeedStack works with any household connection and plugs into any standard socket.

For most households, yes especially at night.

During peaks, additional power will come from the grid or solar.

This depends on your energy usage and solar production.

Each master unit provides 2.1 kWh, expandable to 10.5 kWh.

For most homes, yes. Higher solar production may require additional capacity or multiple batteries.

Yes. It increases self-consumption, reduces strain on the grid, and becomes CO₂-neutral within 3–4 years. It uses LFP cells, contains no conflict minerals like cobalt or manganese, and is largely recyclable.
Yes. Solar energy is green by default, and grid power stored via dynamic tariffs is also 100% renewable.

Typically 3–4 years, depending on solar production and energy contract.

Yes. It reduces grid export and helps avoid penalties from various energy suppliers.

It produces up to 45 dB, similar to a refrigerator.

10-year factory warranty or 6,000 cycles (whichever comes first).

No. It must be used as a plug-in device.

The risk is extremely low. Safety features include:

  • Fire-resistant housing
  • LFP battery chemistry
  • Overheat, short-circuit, and overload protection
Policies vary, so consult your insurer. Always install the unit exactly as instructed.
The SpeedStack has a durable aluminium housing and is IP65-rated.
Between 10°C and 30°C. A utility closet or meter cabinet is often ideal.
